A message from the Worshipful Master

Brethren & Friends of Manasseh Lodge No. 182,
 
As we enter the month of June, now officially halfway through 2026, it's important to reflect on what we've been able to do so far, and how much more we have to look forward to, and the month of June is no exception. This month, aside from our usual meeting, Manasseh will be raising a brother to the Sublime Degree of Master Mason and we will be celebrating America's 250 birthday by hosting a barbecue the last weekend of the month (June 27th) as well as numerous other duties to look forward to that are coming up.
 
Our May Stated Communication went extremely well. We had a delicious dinner that was cooked and prepared by our Manassas Rainbow Assembly #13 and I want to express my thanks to them, in particular to Darcy Burns Nidell for her dedication and effort for cooking a great meal. I also want to say thank you to our special guests from Alexandria Washington Lodge #22, and especially to Worshipful David Bella for his great presentation on the themes of No Country For Old Men.
 
We also recently had our annual Strawberry night celebration which was both very well attended and couldn't have been carried out any better. I want to personally thank everyone who helped contribute to its success, including those who decorated, prepared the food, and had a particular function to do that day. Lastly I want to express my thanks for our honored guest, Most Worshipful Brother Matthew Todd Szramoski, Grand Master of Masons in Virginia and members of his Grand Officer line, in particular Right Worshipful Mike Bible, Grand Administrative Assistant; Right Worshipful David Smith, Grand Purveyor; and Right Worshipful Dan Clark, Grand Marshal.
 
Our June Stated Communication will consist of the usual business, and will include a brief program given by our Lodge's financial manager Emilio Sanchez and our main program will be provided by Worshipful Brother Steven L. Harrison with the presentation entitled "Clash Of The Titans: The Masonic Feud between Brothers Ray Winslow & John Cowles."
 
This month’s dining will be an excellent dinner provided by Prince William Demolay.
