A message from the Worshipful Master
Once again, I have the distinct pleasure of greeting you as we move into the (hopefully) warm weather of March. As Spring approaches, it gives us the opportunity to pause and observe the beauty of the Great Architect’s work in motion. It also gives me a chance to look forward to all the events and activities we have planned for this upcoming month and the rest of this season.
Our last stated communication in February was superb. I want to again thank the officers (especially our Senior Steward for his tremendous effort in cooking and serving our delicious dinner that evening), guests, visitors, and lastly, our District Deputy Grand Master for the 4th Masonic District, Right Worshipful Christopher Chrzanowski. It was an honor and a privilege to officially welcome him into our Lodge, sit by my side in the East, and provide us with our informative program for the evening. The program consisted of outlining the life and accomplishments of our Most Worshipful Grand Master of Masons for the Commonwealth of Virginia, Matthew Szramoski, and to present the Grand Master’s 2026 Agenda, which is for Masons to Live Their Obligations.
Our March Stated Communication will consist of the usual business, but also will consist of 2 educational but entertaining programs. The first will be a quick overview of the Masonic Appendant York Rite body of the Royal Arch, presented by Manassas Chapter No. 81. The main program will be presented by Worshipful Brother Matt Parker of Wendell Lodge #565 in North Carolina. The Program is titled: Freemasonry In Chains: Exploring the History of Oppressed Masons Throughout the World.
This month’s dining will be an excellent dinner provided by Destiny Court No. 14 Order of the Amaranth.
