February 2026 Trestleboard

It is my pleasure as Worshipful Master to address and greet all of you as we move into February...and finally say goodbye to winter! As our Lodge is very family-oriented, this is of course the month where each of us recognizes our significant other and acknowledges all they do for us and how much they mean to us. So, as Valentine's Day approaches, I would like to personally thank all the ladies who do so much for us, both the members of our Appendant Bodies as well as the wives, girlfriends, and widows affiliated with our Lodge.

 

Our first stated communication in January went off better than expected, and I want to thank my officers, guests, visitors, and also give a special shout out to Most Worshipful Brother Alan Adkins, our former 152nd Grand Master of Masons for the Commonwealth of Virginia (1997) as well as Right Worshipful Brother Eric Rebels, the current Grand Historian for the Grand Lodge of the State of New Jersey, both of whom were very welcome to attend our last meeting. I also want to thank Worshipful Brother & Tyler, Jason Michael Richards for his program on the Noah legend and its connection to the Master Mason Degree.

 

Our February Stated Communication will consist of the usual business, but also the receiving of our District Deputy Grand Master for the 4th Masonic District, Right Worshipful Chris Chrzanowski, who will also give a program to reiterate Most Worshipful Matt Szaramoski's agenda during his 2026 term as Grand Master of Masons for the Commonwealth of Virginia. This month's dining will be an excellent dinner provided by our Senior Steward, Henry Mottesheard.
