Summer is here and I hope everyone is enjoying the summertime traditions that make this season so much fun. The harsh lessons of the summer of 2020 helped us all gain a grateful perspective and a new appreciation of what it means to be free. 2021 MANASSEH LODGE AND MANASSAS ROYAL ARCH SCHOLARSHIPS

Each year Manasseh Lodge No. 182 and Manassas Royal Arch Chapter No. 81 award scholarships to our Masonic Youth to encourage and assist their “investment in knowledge” through the pursuit of higher education. The scholarship committee looks for applicants with vision and motivation, leadership skills, community service and involvement, and more. There are academic qualifiers for these scholarships, but every application received by the committee this year far exceeded those requirements. Each of the seven recipients this year possess impressive academic and extracurricular backgrounds, and inspiring plans for investing their knowledge to improve their world. Please join us on August 6th, 2021 for our 35th Annual Scholarship Banquet and Presentation.

HONORARY MEMBER BALLOT

At our July stated communication, a motion was made to elect Brother Arthur Wood an Honorary Member of Manasseh Lodge No. 182. Therefore, the Lodge will ballot on his petition for Honorary Membership at our August 6th Stated Communication. 

SPECIAL ELECTION IN AUGUST

Worshipful Brother Wayne Bentz is stepping down as Treasurer of Manasseh Lodge after nearly 10 years of faithful service. There will be a special election at our Friday August 6th, 2021 stated communication for the purpose of filling the vacancy.
