A message from the Worshipful Master

Happy New Year! 2020 is here and Manasseh Lodge has come out of the starting gate this year fast, focused and fired up. January was a very busy month for us. Here are a few of the events:
  • On January 2nd, we made a fraternal visit to Hope-Singleton Lodge in DC to see our very own Joe Martinez present his program on Ancient Initiatory Rites of Passage. It was a great evening and a great start to 2020.
  • On January 3rd, our Stated Meeting began with a 50 Year Presentation for Brother Howard Churchill. Right Worshipful Pete Jensen, our DDGM was in attendance to congratulate Brother Churchill.
  • On January 12th, our Rainbow Assembly held their installation of officers. Congratulations to the new Worthy Advisor Isabella Chavez and the officers of Manassas Assembly No. 13
  • The “Grand Weekend” at Manasseh Lodge kicked off on January 17th when Rt. Ex. Mike Huff the DDGHP and the Companions of District 17 hosted the official visit of Ray Steele, Grand High Priest of Royal Arch Masons in Virginia. The Lodge was full but there was plenty of Chinese food to for everyone.
  • On January 18th, Rt. Wor. Pete Jensen, the DDGM and the Lodges of the 4th Masonic District hosted Most Worshipful Doug Jones at his official visit to the 4th District. The Rainbow girls decorated the Lodge and cooked dinner to help the 4th District make the Grand Master’s visit a huge success.
  • On January 20th, We held our first Master Mason’s Degree Conferral of 2020. Congratulations to John W. White. He is sure to be a great addition to Manasseh Lodge.
  • January 25th was another big day at Manasseh Lodge. Destiny Court No. 14 Order of the Amaranth held  their Installation of Officers. Honored Lady Darcy Nidell was installed as Royal Matron and Sir Knight  Clancy Nidell was installed as Royal Patron.
