    Looking back at June for a moment:  The British invaded (I mean visited) the lodge on Memorial Day.  We enjoyed a truly American meal and afterwards the Brits demonstrated a Master Mason Degree according to their ritual.  Thanks to PM Bennett Hart for arranging the visit who is congratulating Master Keith Stoner in the photo below.



    We received sad news of the passing of PM James Winfred McDonough and RW William Edward Ray, Sr.  Two of our Honorary members who contributed much masonry.  Please keep their families in your prayers.

    Brethren, we have been providing more than our normal charity support this year especially supporting our widows.  As a result our Charity Fund needs to be replenished.  If it is within your heart and financial capability I ask you make a contribution to the Charity Fund.

    Since it is mid year I wanted to share with you the status on candidates and petitions. To date, we raised one Master Mason, and have another five brothers in process of receiving the degrees.  In addition we have three more who are working on their petitions and five more who have expressed interest.  So it has been an active year.  If you are interested in learning one of the degree parts, I invite you to attend one of our Monday lodge classes.

    The July Stated Communication meeting has been moved from Friday July 5th to Saturday July 13th.   We decided to reschedule the meeting so it would not interfere with the July 4th celebrations.  Also moving it to July 13th gave us the opportunity to make it an afternoon event and have a picnic.  We are inviting all of the lodge widows and offering transportation if needed to attend.  We hope many come out to enjoy the food and fun we plan to provide.

    The party will continue since we are planning a joint picnic with Kena Shriners on July 27th at Manasseh Lodge from 11am to 3pm.  More information to come, so stay tuned.
