Merry Christmas Everyone!! Greetings Brethren, and welcome to your December Trestleboard!  I first would like to say, “Thank You”. First for giving me the privilege and honor of governing the affairs of the lodge for a second term. The confidence and trust that you have imposed within me, is truly an honor and this is a joyous memory that I will always cherish. Secondly, and most important of all is the love and support that I have received from the Officers of Manasseh lodge and their Families. I am humbled by the fantastic efforts of so many, that this year has been such a tremendous success and I am eternally grateful to each one of you. Our Masonic family is awesome, and I could not be any prouder of everyone, and that is what makes this Lodge the absolute best!

As we begin on December 7th, “A day that will live in infamy,” our stated communications will have the Election of its officers that night and then on Saturday December 8th at 2 p.m. will be their Installation. I would like to encourage everyone to come out and join us, you will not want to miss this spectacular event. On the following day, December 9th at 2:00 pm, the Annual Lodge Christmas Party will take place and yes, Santa will be there!! Santa will be flying in from the North Pole for a special visit to our Lodge, so parents please bring a gift with your child’s name on it so that Santa may call on them. Last December, we had over 120 people in attendance and it was a fantastic way to start the year.

As you all know, December has several installations for each Lodge throughout the district. On December 6th, Acacia Lodge No. 16 will start us off at 7:00 pm, followed by us on the following Saturday. On December 13th, the newcomer to the district is Cochrane Lodge No. 271 and theirs will be on the 13th at 7:00 pm. On Saturday, December 15th there will be three installations throughout the day as follows: The Patriot Lodge No. 1957 will be at 10:00 am, Henry Lodge No. 57 at 1:00 pm and then Hay Market Lodge No. 313 will close out the day at 5:00 pm.

As we begin the new Masonic year, the Lodge is in great shape with an excellent core of Officers to lead us into the future. These guys truly made my job so easy this year. Brother Phil Sommers is going to be an excellent Worshipful Master and I know that through his excellent leadership next year is going to be phenomenal. The Lodge has had several affiliations and a few Master Masons to be that are in the pipeline. Our Lodge is growing in every way, each appendant body has an increase in membership and the youth groups are doing great as well. So, I want to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! I am truly Blessed to have you all as my Masonic Family!
