November 2015 Trestleboard

    Thanks all for attending the great Past Masters' Night in October! RW Bill Costis occupied the East, W John Mitchell the West, W John Phillips the South, RW Linwood Holbrook as SD, W Jeffrey Holbrook as JD, W Wayne Bentz as Treasurer, RW Carl Dunn, Jr. as Secretary, W Paul Martin as Marshal, and W Clancy Nidell as Tiler. W Don McAndrews, W Mike Coleman, W Cliff Blasius, W Chris Nestor, W Bill Johnson, RW Allen Wade, W Jim Kraut, and W William Bombach were also in attendance. SUPER night! It was great to honor all those Past Masters who were able to attend and all send their best to those Past Masters who could not attend. We owe a lot to those who were willing to give of themselves in service to their Brothers and as great Stewards of our Blue Lodge. Thank you!

    We also had a great program on MOHAVA given by W William Bombach who added new dimensions to our Grand Master, Most Worshipful Reese Edward Carroll Jr., and his emphasis on MAHOVA and its Outreach Program. In addition, we got to talk about Founders' Day in the Commonwealth of Virginia. A great jambolaya meal was prepared for us by our Rainbow Girls - Thanks! Manasseh Lodge and our Rainbow Girls supported MAHOVA Day in Richmond and they also helped at the Lodge and Prince William County Sheriff's Office operated the Child ID booth. It was very much appreciated. For Halloween, the Lodge in coordination with the Manassas Chapter of Royal Arch, scheduled a Halloween Costume Party and Trunk or Treat.

    Congratulations to B Andrew William Utz, just raised to the Sublime Degree of Master Mason! Also, B Warren Byers Watkins, III and B Allen Edward Long, our two One Day Conferral Brothers, have be Certified and will be introduced and recognized at our November Stated. Please welcome them when you see them!

    Remember! The November Stated is moved from Friday the 6th to Tuesday the 3rd due to the Grand Lodge Communication! The DeMolay will be cooking dinner for us. Be sure to be there to support. The beginning of December will be busy also. Elections will be on Friday the 4th, Installation on Saturday the 5th at 2:00 p.m. and the Annual Christmas Party on Sunday the 6th at 2:00 p.m.

    Those who wish to have flags flown in honor of a passed brother, please see the Lodge Secretary or myself. Flags flown this month are in honor of B Frank "E" Bolton of Manasseh Lodge who was called to the Celestial Lodge on June 15th.
